We are the largest Jayhawk Fan Club in the WORLD! Nearly 1500 members and climbing! If you’d like to
become a part of this fun and exciting group, click on the “Join Us” tab to download a membership form to
mail in, or simply attend one of our many local events we host and sign up at that time.
Our yearly dues have not increased since 1994. Members receive a wonderful membership gift each year plus
8 - 10 exciting newsletters keeping you abreast of club happenings. If you are a first time member, you will
also receive a Topeka Jayhawk Club license plate.
Things we do during the year include:
Topeka St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Golf tournament attended by KU Coaches and staff
Watermelon feed in which we deliver and feed watermelon to the KU football team and coaches
Hawkwatch parties for KU football and/or basketball games at the Lazy Toad
Organize gatherings at Forbes Field to welcome the basketball team back from NCAA tournament games
Join the Williams Fund in hosting the RoundBall Luncheon in Topeka which features both the men’s and
women’s basketball coaches
Summer BBQ welcoming the KU football coaches and staff
As you can see, we tend to keep quite busy year around and would certainly like to have you join in on the
Topeka Jayhawk Club Scholarship Information
The Topeka Jayhawk Club is proud to offer up to 3 $500 scholarships for the Fall, 2015, semester. If the
following guidelines can be met, click on the button to download the applicaton form and mail it in.
ELIGIBILITY: Any current KU student or high school student entering KU for Fall, 2015 is eligible if the
student or student’s parents or the student’s grandparents are current TJC members and have
maintained membership for a minimum of 3 years.
The student must live in Northeast Kansas and must not be involved or have any intention to be involved
in NCAA sports. The applicant will be required to sign an agreement as to the student’s non-involvement
in NCAA sports.
The applicant must complete an application form regarding information as to high school/college GPA,
extra-curricular involvement and other information. A cover letter must accompany the applicaton
regarding the student’s future plans.
The scholarship committee will review applications and invite three or more applicants to make a short
oral presentation to the committee.
Applications must be postmarked by March 31, 2015.
